Refund Policy

Our products are digital and delivered electronically. Every one of them, a download link, a licence code, or a SparkPublish credit, is a piece of data that cannot be un-issued once we send it: it can be used, copied, or redeemed the moment you have it, and we have no way to verify that it hasn't been. Because of that, all sales are final at the moment of delivery. We do not offer refunds, credits, or exchanges once a product has been delivered to you, whether or not you have downloaded, redeemed, or used it.
What "delivered" means for each product
- SparkEmbed: final once the download link has been issued.
- SparkText Pro: final once the licence key has been issued.
- SparkTemplates: final once the download link has been issued.
- SparkPublish credits: final once the credit has been issued to you. This is the same rule as every other product above: issuance, not redemption, is what makes it final. An unredeemed credit is not refundable, and it does not matter whether you have redeemed it yet.
When we will refund
The rule above is about you changing your mind or not getting around to using what you bought. It is separate from cases where we did not hold up our end. We will look at a refund where:
- your purchase was never delivered and we cannot deliver it
- the product does not work as described and we cannot resolve it with you
- you were charged more than once for the same purchase
Contact support@sparkslides.com and tell us what happened. We would rather fix the problem than process a refund, and in most cases we can.
What we do not refund
- change of mind, before or after delivery, including a credit, licence code, or download link you have not redeemed or used
- a deck you asked us to delete. Deletion is permanent, uses up the credit, and is not a refund
- content removed for breaching the acceptable use section of our Terms
- a website that refuses to be embedded because its owner blocks embedding. See section 13 of our Terms
- a purchase you made through Etsy. Etsy purchases follow Etsy's own refund process
Payment disputes
Your payment is handled by our merchant of record, and any chargeback or payment dispute is decided under its process. Please contact support@sparkslides.com first. A direct conversation is faster than a dispute and we can usually solve the underlying problem.
Your legal rights
This policy does not limit any right you have under consumer protection law that cannot be waived by agreement.
