Respect for the craft we came from.

Every future is built by people who mastered the present first. Templates are the slide's original discipline — structure, restraint, one idea per frame — and that discipline is exactly what transfers to the web. We keep making them because millions of stories will still be told in PowerPoint this year, and every one of them deserves good design. The medium is changing. The standards aren't.
